Vanished Powers
Name: | Vanished Powers |
Developer: | NEON Software |
Systems: | PS1, PC |
Due date: | 1996 |
Vanished Powers is a cancelled PlayStation and PC game by NEON Software.
It was to be a isometric action RPG.
Plot
You would play as Richard in this wonderful world called Mrynn.
Princess Lyra has lost her power and cannot govern her people.
You vow to return the stolen 'seal of powers' to return her vanished powers.
Gameplay
There was to be over 70 characters, all modelled by Silicon Graphics.
The animation was smooth and fluid.
Development
The game started out on PC, coded in the C language.
The C language was chosen to more easily port the game to the PS1.
Cancellation
Vanished Powers was cancelled in 1997.
Ocean Software had a similar game, Silver, in the works.
Vanished Powers, looking like the inferior game, was cancelled.
