The Genome Project is a cancelled PC game by Saber Interactive.
It was to be a third-person action adventure game.
Plot
You would play as a military researcher in a world gone wrong.
Genetic manipulation has created swarms of mutated scientists.
Your mission is to quell the mutants and restore order.
Gameplay
When you slay the mutants you can harvest their DNA and gain their abilities.
Some of these abilities would include night vision, boosts in speed or aim, and various resistances.
These splices would also affect your physical appearance.
Cancellation
This game was canned in favour of Will Rock, which was released in 2003.
