The Fallen
Name: | The Fallen |
Developer: | Sensory Deception |
Systems: | M2, PS1, PC |
Due date: | late 1996, then Q1 1997 |
The Fallen is a cancelled M2, PlayStation and PC game from Sensory Deception.
The game would have been a third-person action adventure strategy RPG game.
Plot
The world is set in a post-apocalyptic society run by The Lords.
The outcasts, the eponymous Fallen, want to live in a free society.
Gameplay
You can play as a Lord and enforce the law.
You could also play as a Fallen and invoke anarchy.
How you act shapes the world and the people who inhabit it.
Development
The Fallen started off as game for the Panasonic M2.
Soon after E3 1996, Psygnosis abandoned the vaporware M2 and moved onto the PS1 and PC.
Cancellation
Psygnosis likely cancelled the game due to big costs and underwhelming expected sales expectations.
