Due date: | 1999 |
Symbiant Dawn is a cancelled PC game by Criterion Studios and Creat Studios.
It was to be a third-person action platformer.
Plot
You would play as an alien escaping from humans who had captured him to study and dissect him.
Gameplay
Killing an enemy allows us to morph as the slain enemy.
This is useful as different forms allow different movement, like better jumping or climbing walls.
The research base is huge and has numerous biomes to simulate our alien protagonist's home planet.
Development
Criterion Studios outsourced the project to Russian developers Create Studios.
This collab project was allegedly finished in 1999.
Cancellation
Apparently this game was developed but not published.
Either that or it was released but to a limited market.
