Plot
On a planet in some corner of a universe, a planet is in danger.
Three witches are using their portal magic powers to snuff out the light with darkness.
They have nearly succeeded in claiming both realities.
You would play as Solo Axelrod, a humble fisherman.
He has the ability to switch between two universes: Arion and Tirit.
Arion is the medieval world of nature; Tirit is the world of science and robot soldiers.
Gameplay
Split Realities played in the vein of Flashback.
You can solve puzzles by switching between worlds to move objects.
Cancellation
Split Realities was cancelled in 1996 or so.
JVC's gaming division closed up shop in 1998.
Some ex-devs took the idea to Funcom and from there it became the hit PC game The Longest Journey.
