Speedball Arena is a cancelled PS2, Xbox, and PC game by Bitmap Brothers.
It was to take the classic Amiga game into the third dimension.

Gameplay

There was to be over 30 arenas strewn with powerups and score multipliers.

Online multiplayer was promised with services to clans.

Cancellation

Speedball Arena was cancelled in around late 2002 or so.
