Shayde: Monsters vs. Humans, or simply Shayde, is a cancelled Xbox game from Metro3D, Inc.
It was to be a horror first person shooter.
Gameplay
Shayde was to be a first person shooter with vampires.
There was to be six different character to play as, each with their own story.
You would have a choice between your moral paths.
- Hero: vanquish the monsters
- Evil: vanquish the humans
There was to be 36 missions to complete, which was cut down to 20 missions during development.
There was also going to be online gameplay via Xbox Live.
Up to eight players duke it out, monsters vs humans.
Cancellation
Shayde was cancelled in late 2003/early 2004 when Metro3D went bankrupt.
This game was not turned into Shade: Wrath of Angels as is commonly believed.
