Sato City is a cancelled PlayStation and PC game by Merit Studio and then Eutechnyx.
It was to be a post-apocalyptic RPG game in a big city.
Plot
You would play a cyberpunk Detective Skinner and have to solve a mystery of sorts.
Gameplay
The game would be controlled via point and click.
It would be have pre-rendered backgrounds and full speech.
Cancellation
In 1996 Merit Studios became Eutechnyx.
Eutechnyx was working on two PS1 games: Sato City and Total Drivin.
Infogrames wanted a racing game, so Sato City was cancelled.
