Saboteur was a cancelled PlayStation and PC game by Tigon Studios, and then by Pumpkin Studios.
It was to be a third-person action game with a boy and his dog.
Plot
You would play as ninja Shin Ienaga, accompanied by your dog Shiro.
Your sister was kidnapped by the evil G.E.N.E. Corporation.
Your quest is to rescue her.
Gameplay
The game would have you assassinating in stealth, using your dog Shiro as a distraction.
Shiro cannot be killed.
There would be five levels: a volcanic world, an arctic sub-aqua base, a lunar station, an ancient Japanese temple, and its gardens.
Cancellation
Saboteur was cancelled due to Eidos Interactive wanting to focus on next-gen hardware.
Pumpkin Studios closed down in March 2000 due to lack of funds.
