Mini Racers is a cancelled Nintendo 64 game by Looking Glass Studios.
It was to be a top-down racing game.
Gameplay
Mini Racers was intended to hop onto the Micro Machines bandwagon.
Race tracks take inspiration from life, such as a messy bedroom and a basketball court.
You can even have a race track randomly generated.
Cancellation
When Looking Glass Studios became defunct in mid 2000, this game went down with it.
It was complete and ready for shipping but was unable to be published.
Prototype
In 2012 a prototypes of Mini Racers was released onto the Internet.
