Lejendary Adventures is a cancelled PC MMORPG by Dreams Interactive.
It was to be based on the game book of the same name.

Gameplay

Lejendary Adventures was intended to be a 'rule-lite' alternative to Dungeons & Dragons.
Rather than set classes, players can fill the mould with whatever skills they want.
There was to be three base ratings: health, precision, and speed.

The combat was to be fast.
There would be a 3 second window of activity to choose your next move.
Every weapon has its merits and potential to cause harm.

There were to be six kinds of magic.
There were Enchantment, Geourgy, Necrourgy, Pyschogenic, Sorcery, and Theurgy.
All except Pyschogenic costs Activation Energy Points (aka AEPs).

Development

Dreams Interactive had previously made Island of Dreams as a tech demo.
It got worked into Lejendary Adventures.

Cancellation

Lejendary Adventures was silently cancelled in 2004.
The game was probably cancelled because Dreams Interactive went defunct.
