Final Countdown is a cancelled PS1 and PC game by Pyramid Interactive.
It was to be a vehicular based 3D shooter.

Gameplay

Control a futuristic all-terrain vehicle and blast the baddies.
There was to be over 25 missions for single player and 25 players for multiplayer.
Multiple was a given; up to eight players can play capture-the-flag or do co-op missions.

Cancellation

On 1st March 1999, Pyramid Interactive changed its name to Sylinium Studios.
It is unknown how long Final Countdown lasted before being cancelled and for what reason.
Probably when the publisher Impact Games went belly up in late 1999.
