Crystal Atatrium is a cancelled PC MMORPG by the Crystal Atatrium team.
It was to be an anime-esque MMO dealing with good vs evil.
Plot
Long ago the powerful forces of nature took the form of crystals.
Gods appeared as avatars of these crystals.
With their powers combined they formed the Supreme Being, who gave life to the land.
Eight races were created:
- Lenian
- Mellek
- Deamon
- Nimbal
- Belle
- Tramin
- Dragoons
- Ferrans
These tribes went to war, with even these Gods picking sides.
Soon an uneasy calm settled over the lands.
That's where you, the player character comes in.
Gameplay
You could choose various classes, called Jobs, to play as.
These include the:
- knight
- thief
- priest
- wizard
- squire
- farmer
- fisherman
- hunter
- miner
- witchdoctor
- alchemist
- apprentice
- fighter
- economist
- necromancer
- woodcutter
- Bisian.
Cancellation
Game development was slow as it was an indie game with little to no funding.
Development seems to have ceased in mid-2005.
