Cabbage is a cancelled N64 64DD game by Nintendo.
It was going to be a animal breeder game.
Gameplay
Announced in 1997 for the 64DD, it was an interesting project.
Players would breed creatures in the game; the internal clock would keep track of time.
Players could then transfer the creature to GameBoy when not home to take care of it.
Cancellation
The game has a victim of circumstance.
The 64DD was a flop and the regular N64 wouldn't have allowed the gameplay mechanics to work.
Elements of Cabbage were later used in Animal Crossing games and Nintendogs.
