Due date: | February 1999 |
Beavis & Butt-Head Do Hollywood is a cancelled PlayStation game by New Level.
The game is not at all an adaption of the similarly-titled movie.
Plot
This game is set after the movie of the same name.
Here the boys are penniless. To afford the tickets home they sign up to a temp agency and do various tasks and objectives on various movie sets.
Gameplay
Each of the lads had a specific set of skills and attributes.
Beavis and Butthead can give command and requests using preset voice commands.
Perform tasks incorrectly and get called a fartmuncher and get slapped.
Development
Later on in the game's life the game was renamed to Beavis and Butt-Head: Get Big in Hollywood.
GT Interactive likely did so to differentiate it from the movie.
Cancellation
By the year 2000 news of the game went quiet.
GT Interactive assured that it was being 'reworked' but it was cancelled to cut costs.
