Name: | B.C. |
Developer: | Intrepid Computer Entertainment |
Systems: | Xbox |
Due date: | Q2 2003, then Autumn 2003, then Fall 2004, then 2005 |
B.C. is a cancelled Xbox game from Intrepid Computer Entertainment.
This was to be a third-person action RPG simulation man vs dinosaur romp in prehistoric times.
Plot
You would play as a primitive human, hunting and gathering to feed yourself or your family.
The game has a variety of flesh-hungry dinosaurs. Anachronisms aside, the game was hyped to hell.
Gameplay
B.C. was to be a simulation game, giving you the freedom to play as you see fit.
Once you learn skills, like fire-making, you pass this knowledge to your offspring.
The better and more efficient you play, the more advanced your tribe becomes.
There would be rival tribes to contend with.
They could batter you, take your resources, your women, your technology, and more.
Cancellation
B.C. was cancelled in October 2004 for being too ambitious.
Lionhead's resources went to more viable games, like Fable.
