Assault Korps is a cancelled PS1 and PC game by Corrosive Software.
It was to be part Syndicate Wars part Cannon Fodder.
Gameplay
You would be in control of a squad of commandos.
Your job is to defeat the group of dictators collectively known as Kern.
You would place up to eight commandos at the beginning of the mission.
Then you would move them around individually and make them do tasks.
Gameplay was made to be exciting, with a range of nifty weapons.
Huge explosions made a big wow factor.
There was plenty to do have have done.
Cancellation
Corrosive Software, last known as The Big Red Software Company, was acquired by Eidos in 1995.
The team, then renamed Corrosive Software, finished making the game.
Then Eidos close the studio. The game was never released.
