Angel is a cancelled PS1 and Saturn game from Scavenger. It was to be an isometric action platformer.
The plot involves you, an angelic girl, seeking to prevent Satan from ruling the Earth. You would have gotten help from a demon, presumably one rebelling against Satan. It borrows heavily from the Bible, especially the book of Revelation.
Angel was cancelled when Scavenger went defunct.
